Summary

On Tuesday, 29 October 2024, the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among gave an address to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), sitting in Kampala at the Parliament Chambers. In the sitting chaired by EALA Speaker, Joseph Ntakirutimana, Speaker Among urged EAC partner states to consolidate the gains of unity and cohesion in a bid to ensure a united community which will unlock the potential for local solutions to shared problems.
