In the plenary sittings held on Tuesday 28 February, Wednesday 01 and Thursday 02 March 2023, Parliament granted leave to Bugiri Municipality Member of Parliament, Hon. Asuman Basalirwa to introduce a private member's Bill titled the Anti-Homosexuality Bill, 2023.
