Summary

In the plenary sitting held on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 August 2023; the Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa gave Parliament’s commitment to foot the medical bills of Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya, once his documents are in order with the Uganda Medical Board. The House passed the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Bill, 2023, which now allows the licensed farming and use of marijuana strictly for medical use. Hon.
