Summary

In the plenary sittings held on Tuesday 05 and Wednesday 06 December 2023, the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Mathias Mpuuga, called for unconditional release of prisoners, including supporters of the National Unity Platform, who have been in custody for periods longer than the 48 hours prescribed by the Constitution. Parliament approved supplementary funding worth 3.5 trillion shillings, to cater for various government sectors including the Ministry of Health.
