On Tuesday, 21 January 2020, Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga launched a mobile app called Bungeni that will allow the public to take part in the law making process. Kadaga said that the mobile app will see the constituents have an input in the bills processes without necessarily coming to Parliament buildings, adding that the app will be used to track the progress made on bills and have comments submitted before the bills are passed into law by the whole House.
