Summary

Members of Parliament have tasked Government to expeditiously roll out the Senior Citizens Grant (SAGE) across all districts, that was recently launched by President Yoweri Museveni on 08 March 2020 (Women’s Day) held in Mbale. State Minister for Gender and Culture Hon. Peace Mutuuzo told the House sitting on Tuesday, 10 March 2020 that there is funding available for the SAGE program but there preparations being made; and once completed the national rollout will begin with the month of January 2020.
