Summary

Members of Parliament want the Electoral Commission to review its decision to halt the verification process, in order to include Ugandans who will turn 18 years before the 2021 elections. MPs said it would be unfair for such youths who will have reached the eligible age for voting, to miss the opportunity to participate in the electoral process, in the 2021 elections. The matter arose for debate during plenary sitting on Wednesday, 26 February 2020.
